Go Pro! Become a PADI Divemaster


Divemaster is the first step in being a PADI Pro. In the PADI Divemaster course, you will learn dive theory, dive physics, and how to assist certified divers and those in training. You will expand your knowledge and refine your diving skills. You will work on becoming an effective dive leader, and become a role model to other divers. In the course, you will work on knowledge development both in class and through self-study. You will have in water training and assist in classes through an internship.


PADI Divemasters can:

  • Work in the dive industry at resort locations

  • Assist with teaching classes

  • Lead scuba divers on dives

  • Teach skin divers

  • Teach Discover Scuba's

  • Conduct scuba reviews

  • Much more!



The course fee is $1000 plus tax, and includes: instruction, course materials, tanks and weights. Students must also complete PADI Divemaster online, and Dive Theory online, (both included in course fee). Dive Theory online replaces the second part of the Divemaster exam, and the Diving Knowledge Workbook.
